★★★★☆

After their award-winning adventure of 2022, fringe favourites Crudi Dench and Kate Butch have returned to face a new supernatural foe and this one has fangs. The queens once again dash out their slapstick storytelling, hilarious audience interaction and the best action man-themed jumpsuit you’ve ever set your eyes on - all doused in the obligatory helping of euphemistic glory. These two are the best in the biz.

The pair’s latest outing sees them travelling to the Eurovision Song Contest Finals in Transylvania, ready to represent the UK after their fellow hopefuls were taken out by a mystery curry night based illness. After a quick flight with ‘Jizz Air,’ they check into their AirBnB which just so happens to be the castle home of a Dr. Acula, how very spooky. With some help from the audience, the rest of the hijinks plays out wonderfully but will Dench and Butch be able to defeat the villainous vampire, win the Eurovision Song Contest and refuse to let a man come between them?

These queens are masters of their craft, filling any gap with innuendo goodness but do be prepared for a generous offering of toilet-based humour too. Their audience work is particularly good, always remaining in complete control but leaving enough wiggle room for some beautiful chaos throughout. Drag Queens vs Vampires is a guaranteed good night, go and see these hilarious queens do what they do best as they bring a whole new meaning to the word slay.
