About Me
Hi, I'm Henry, based in East London. Longstaff Reviews is an archive of the theatre and arts reviews I wrote across London. I have also written for London Theatre Reviews and assessed productions for the Off West End Awards (Offies), championing small and medium sized productions.
In my reviews, I sought to be fair and rounded — looking for the positive intentions behind a production while remaining honest and open-minded. I know how much work goes into putting on a show, and wanted to celebrate innovative, interesting and challenging performances.
By day I am a delivery manager working in the world of streaming, but I still enjoy spending my spare time at the theatre. Before writing reviews I co-hosted and produced The Adlib Podcast, which launched at York Theatre Royal, and spent two years leading marketing and communications at the TakeOver Festival in York.
I'm not currently reviewing new shows or accepting review invitations, but I hope you enjoy exploring the archive.
All the best,
Henry
